A closer fit

Your workflow is more than a list of stops

Tyre collectors depend on dense garage rounds and consistent load records. PaperRoute keeps the customer schedule, driver proof, waste details and commercial record connected, giving the office a clearer view than a list of addresses and a bundle of tickets.

Best suited to

Registered waste tyre carriers serving garages, depots, fleet workshops and trade customers across repeat regional collection rounds.

01

Collection frequency varies by customer

A busy tyre centre and a small workshop need different service patterns, while one urgent full stillage can reshape the day's route.

02

Counts and categories affect the record

Collected quantities and configured tyre categories need to reach the office accurately if charges, credits and downstream records are to match.

03

Traceability continues after pickup

The customer handover is only one part of the chain. Carrier, vehicle, waste description and authorised destination details need to remain findable.

One connected flow

From booking to a complete job record

The detail changes by sector. The principle does not: capture the information once, at the point where it is known, and keep it with the job.

  1. 1

    Schedule garage rounds

Keep repeat service patterns, site contacts and collection notes with each account, then add ad-hoc pickups to the live plan.

  2. 2

    Send stops to the driver

Sequence the run and provide site details through the mobile app, with core job work available during weak connectivity.

  3. 3

    Capture quantity and handover

Record the configured tyre details, count or quantity, notes, photos and customer signature against the collection.

  4. 4

Retain the waste and finance record

Create the appropriate reviewed paperwork and progress the completed job to invoicing or the agreed customer account process.

PaperRoute in practice

Traceable repeat collections without duplicate entry

PaperRoute gives a small or regional tyre fleet the route controls and waste-specific records usually split between several systems.

  • Recurring collections and ad-hoc full-stillage pickups
  • Truck-aware route sequencing and live job progress
  • Configured tyre waste streams and collection quantities
  • Driver photos, notes, timestamps and signatures
  • Digital waste records and searchable job history
  • Customer invoicing and accounting integrations

Compliance context

Tyre traceability starts with an accurate load record

Waste pneumatic tyres are commonly recorded under EWC 16 01 03, but the operator must still verify that the code and description fit the actual load and activity.

Duty of care includes using authorised carriers and destinations and providing accurate waste information. Enforcement attention in the tyre sector makes consistent collection and destination records especially valuable.

PaperRoute supports the operational audit trail. It does not verify a downstream site, determine whether an export is lawful or replace the checks each waste holder must make.

Operational outcomes

What a connected workflow changes

Denser, more flexible rounds

Plan repeat stops together and fit urgent garage pickups into the route the driver actually receives.

More consistent quantity records

Capture configured counts, categories, notes and photos in the collection workflow instead of relying on memory.

Easier customer and regulator queries

Search the job history and retrieve the recorded collection details without finding the original paper ticket.

Common questions

Waste tyre collection FAQs

Can PaperRoute plan recurring garage collections?

Yes. Keep repeat jobs and site details with each garage account, build the daily route and add urgent pickups when a customer's storage is full.

Can drivers record tyre quantities?

PaperRoute can be configured to capture the collection details your business needs, together with notes, photos and a signature. Agree the exact quantity and category workflow during onboarding.

Does PaperRoute verify the disposal or recovery site?

No. The system stores the job and destination information you enter, but your business must check that each carrier and site has the right authorisation and can accept the waste.

When does Digital Waste Tracking apply to tyre collectors?

The current UK policy schedules the collector, carrier, broker and dealer phase for October 2027. A business that also operates a permitted receiving site may have earlier duties from October 2026 in England and Wales.
