Terms and Conditions

The rules for using Paperroute Lite.

Last updated: 18 June 2026

1. Who we are

Paperroute Lite is a mobile app and related service operated by Saunders Simmons. You can contact us at hello@saunders-simmons.co.uk.

In these terms, "Paperroute Lite", "we", "us" and "our" mean the operator of the Paperroute Lite service. "You" means the person or business creating or using an account.

2. What Paperroute Lite does

Paperroute Lite helps waste carriers and waste businesses create, store and send waste transfer note records, customer records, EWC code information, waste stream details, container details, destination details, vehicle details, signatures and related PDF documents.

The app is a record-keeping and document generation tool. It is not an official DEFRA, Environment Agency, Natural Resources Wales, SEPA or local authority service.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate account, business, carrier, customer and ticket information. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity on your account.

You must not share your account with anyone who is not authorised to act for your business. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. Compliance responsibility

Paperroute Lite can help you prepare and organise information commonly used for waste transfer notes and digital waste tracking workflows, but you remain responsible for deciding what information is legally required for your waste activity.

You are responsible for checking waste descriptions, EWC codes, hazardous waste information, carrier registration details, destination details, consignment information, weights, signatures and any other document fields before issuing or relying on a record.

We do not provide legal, regulatory, tax, environmental or waste classification advice. If you are unsure about a waste code, disposal or recovery route, hazardous status or legal duty, you should check the relevant regulator guidance or obtain professional advice.

5. Customer and third-party information

You must have a lawful reason to enter customer, contact, destination, vehicle, signature or other third-party information into Paperroute Lite.

If you email a PDF or booking confirmation from the app, you are responsible for making sure the recipient address is correct and that the recipient is allowed to receive that document.

6. Subscriptions, trials and payment

Paperroute Lite may offer a free trial or paid subscription. Current prices, trial length and renewal terms are shown in the app or checkout flow before purchase.

Payments and billing are handled through our payment provider or the relevant app store, depending on how you subscribe. Your access may be limited, suspended or ended if a payment fails, a subscription expires or you cancel.

Unless the checkout terms say otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You are responsible for cancelling before renewal if you no longer want the service.

7. App availability and changes

We aim to keep Paperroute Lite available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, network problems, third-party service issues or events outside our control.

We may change, improve, remove or replace features where needed to maintain the service, improve usability, address compliance changes, support digital waste tracking, or protect users and the platform.

8. Data, backups and exports

You should keep any records that your business is legally required to retain. Paperroute Lite stores records in the app service and may allow exports or PDF generation, but you should not rely on the app as your only business archive.

If you delete records, cancel your account, lose access to your account or fail to maintain your subscription, you may lose access to records stored in the service.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use Paperroute Lite unlawfully, fraudulently, to mislead regulators or customers, to upload malicious content, to interfere with the service, to access another user’s data, or to reverse engineer or copy the app except where allowed by law.

10. Intellectual property

Paperroute Lite, including the app design, branding, code, text, workflows and generated templates, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use the service for your own business records while you have access, but you do not own the app or service.

You keep responsibility for the business, customer and waste information you enter into the app.

11. Limits of liability

Paperroute Lite is provided as a practical business tool. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit, lost business, lost data, regulatory fines, penalties, or losses caused by inaccurate information entered into the app.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

12. Ending access

You may stop using Paperroute Lite at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, do not pay required charges, misuse the service, or create risk for the app, other users or our providers.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, unless consumer law gives you mandatory rights to use another court.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app, law, regulation, pricing, providers or digital waste tracking requirements change. If a material change affects your use of the service, we will take reasonable steps to tell you in the app or by email.
